Never Been Kissed

Cast: Drew Barrymore, Molly Shannon, David Arquette, Michael Vartan, John C. Reilly, Leelee Sobieski, Garry Marshall
Never Been Kissed is yet another in a long line of teen movies that centers on the emergence of the geek.

Golmaal 3

Director Rohit Shetty makes a film that’s entertaining for the most part. The end is so abrupt and such a pat on the back by the filmmaker, it’s sorely disappointing.
A sparkling performance by the cast is the highlight. Worth a watch for the ‘rewind’ portions and a few real laughs, even though sparse.

Unthinkable 2010

It  is a good movie. It's about a terrorist attack on america.
Stars: Samuel L. Jackson, Carrie-Anne Moss and Michael Sheen

Ending: A FBI bomb disposal team arrives at one of the disclosed locations and resets the timer to prevent the bomb from going off. As the FBI are celebrating however, behind a nearby crate, the originally unconfirmed fourth bomb's timer counts down to zero. The screen immediately cuts to black and the credits roll.

The Social network

Just seen The Social network. It was great movie. Its based on story of Mark Zuckerburg. Its a good movie about a start up and how expansion works. The way facebook was started was awesome.

The narrative of the story is broken into three storylines. Zuckerburg is being simultaneously sued by the Ken-doll-like Winklevoss twins, Cameron and Tyler (both played by Arnie Hammer) and co-founder (and Zuckerburg's best friend), Eduardo Saverin (Andrew Garfield).

Zuckerburg was a young dynamic personality. He was focused guy.In whatever he does, he used to remember his girl friend Erica. It shows the love for her.

My take of the movie, is the smartness of the young, Mark. The dynamics of young business and how to expand in this world.

The issues that came across with his colleague and how he dealt with his friends and lawyers. The way he built the facebook brand. The ideas that came across him and he built upon it.

Love it!

Once Upon A Time In Mumbai

Star cast: Ajay Devgan, Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut, Prachi Desai and Randeep Hooda;
 Director: Milan Luthria;

The Story is made on Haji Mustan.
Milan handles the dramatic moments well and great use has been made of dialoguebaazi. The famous one includes ’Yeh umar sudharni ki nahi Bigarne ki hai’ and ‘Smugler ki zindagi ek ciggrate ki tarah hai…..’ All actors have come up with some memorable performances. Ajay Devgn’s overpowering presence is matched by Emraan’s charm. Kangna Ranaut and Prachi Desai do their bits well. Randeep Hooda is effective as the strict  police office.
Overall, ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai’ is an entertainer. It create great respect of Haji Mustan and hate for Shoaib. It is the mere magic of characters created that makes this film worth watching.

Inception Ending!

Christopher Nolan's Inception is clearly a master piece. It has everything action, love, graphics and an amibious ending, leave the audience discussing about the ending.
After reading through many reviews and comments, I conclude that the ending is still a mystery. We can’t say exactly that Cobb was awake or still dreaming.

Points that  favor he was awake

I was seeing the ending again and again, The totem(top) was about to stop. But we can’t be sure.
Some sites absorve that Cobb wore wedding ring in the whole movie but at the end he was not wearing so he is awake.
Points that  favor he was still dreaming.
The children didn’t age and also were wearing the same cloths.
He stays to find Saito but we never see how they get out.
Tottem (top) in previous segments of "reality", you'll notice that it falls over relatively quickly,.

The concept that in the whole movie Cobb was dreaming is flawed as the totem does stop in many scenes. But some argue that the stopping of totem can also be lies.  Since we don't know when the idea (Mal’s) was conceived, it's very possible that it is a flawed concept.  If we go deeper the ending will start becoming more ambiguous.  The ending is just like that of Shutter Island, a mystery! . Keep thinking about the mystery behind Inception and let me know if you cracked it .

Until Death

It's Van Damme's performance that ultimately determines Until Death's effectiveness; the actor, initially trapped within the confines of the most reprehensible character of his career, does a surprisingly nice job of bringing Anthony Stowe to life and essentially transforms the guy into a likeable figure. He looks some what like Arnold.

Director Simon Fellows generally does a nice job of playing up the more dramatic elements within Dan Harris and James Portolese's screenplay

Up in the Air

Up in the Air is a film about a good man whose unique skillset traps him in a morally questionable profession. It's about being groundless, only loosely tethered to yourself, or to the Earth. And the movie only really missteps in the third act, ironically at the point where the film steps away from the hotels and airports into Bingham's personal life for a little Capra-esque redemption. While some degree of reconnection is inevitable for the character, this portion of the film feels the most forced, the least natural, but a rather surprising turn toward the end leaves the movie with an ambiguous, though satisfying, conclusion. Driven by Clooney's charismatic portrayal of a broken, disconnected man, Reitman's film is as moving as it is hilarious, filled with airport innuendo that travelers will no doubt recognize and brimming with human observations that make this a character piece to see.

Paathshaala Review

Paathshaala is about the education system, which  is corrupt and needs reforming, but is a boring movie ever going to make the moolah-seekers turn over new leaves? Don’t think so.
Paathshaala is too forced and too clichรฉd. It has its moments, but they are too few and far in between. Shahid Kapoor has done a good role, supported by Ayesha. But the substance was lacking,

Pankh

All in all, the film has an intriguing story but leaves you confused. Based on a real life situation on Ahsaas Chanana the film could have been made a lot easier to watch and comprehend. At no point do you feel sorry for the character until maybe the climax.

Its a time waste.Bipasha's role is not understandable. I felt the theme could be shown in a proper way.

Kites Hindi 2010

Director: Anurag Basu

Producer: Rakesh Roshan

Banner: Film Kraft Production

Music Director: Rajesh Roshan

Star Cast: Hrithik Roshan, Barbara Mori, Kangna Ranaut, Kabir Bedi, Anand Tiwari, Luce Rains, Nicholas Brown, Cecilia Chavez

Lovely locales are shot and edited beautifully and set to some very nice background music. But the story doesn't fly that high. The twists and turns are mere ploys to get to an end that was decided before the first chapter was written.
I really loved Hrithik's dance and acting. You can't complain about less hindi in the movie. How can you expect a Spanish girl  to talk fluent hindi?

Anurag tried to make this realistic, he tried to do something different. We Indian audience need to get more matured before accepting the change.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010)

Directed by: Mike Newell
Staring: Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Ben Kingsley,Alfred Molina

The general idea is that Dastan is adopted from the streets of Nasaf by King Sharaman of Persia, and he grows up amongst royalty and quickly earns his place as a mighty warrior and prince. As his brothers Garsiv and Tus plan battle strategies, a spy sends word that the Holy City of Alamut has been supplying weapons to enemies of Persia. Taking matters into his own hands, Tus orders an attack on the sacred city and upon its fall Dastan encounters the beautiful Princess Tamina. When King Sharaman dies under mysterious circumstances shortly after, and Dastan is accused of his murder, he flees with the princess on a harrowing mission to clear his name.
The film is a very good, enjoyable, well made video game to screen adaptation. Prince of Persia is going to be one of those guilty pleasure movies cause it's tonnes of fun but ultimately stupid and pointless. Its sole purpose is entertainment with nice graphics and actions

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of goviral. All opinions are 100% mine.

The Earth has been warming since 1910, with a  maximum temperature reaching in the 1990’s.
We know that CO2 causes warming.
Global warming is causing lots of issues nowadays. Global warming is caused by the emission of greenhouse gases . 72% of the totally emitted greenhouse gases is carbon dioxide (CO2), 18% Methane and 9% Nitrous oxide (NOx). Carbon dioxide emissions therefore are the most important cause of global warming. CO2 is inevitably created by burning fuels like e.g. oil, natural gas, diesel, organic-diesel, petrol, organic-petrol, ethanol. Nowadays entertainment is a good way to promote ideas to curb use of these gases. This is a great way to create awareness about global warming.

I saw this great show in which there were 4 people These four people sing a very melidious song. The band's debut UK album, Making Dens was released on 6 March 2006.The band also put on a tribute show to Syd Barrett on 18th September 2006 which is one of their biggest influences. The show was put on at the Union Chapel in Islington, London. It was really great. The performance comes directly from Stella Artois' CO2 Soiree show, which is broadcast from within the new carbon-efficient Stella Artois bottle.
The audience  were thrilled and dancing to thier tune. This video has some message of less carbon emission. The message there reads "Just like the new lightweight bottle of Stella Artous. less Glass Less co2 more class"

Alice in wonderland

When I was a kid I had read Alice in wonderland. When this movie released in India, really wanted to watch it how Tim Burton gets the book in a movie. The film is a thriller and you get good enough shares of chills especially with the 3D effects but story wise the film falls flat. Only good thing about the movie was Johnny Depp acting.

The problem is that, even if populated by non-conventional characters, his story is very conventional in the end, until the third act super classic in structure, low in the implementation and inappropriate for the environment

Starring: Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter
Director: Tim Burton

Final Verdict! Watch it only for 3D affects.

Do add in your opinion.

Shutter Island; What happens in the end!

Martin Scorsesee chose to make both insanity and sanity a possibility resulting in exactly what is going on on the movie.
The movie is really exciting. Till the end i didn't know whats happening. We don't know what happens at the end.
When he says, “what do you think is worse, living as a monster or dying a good man?”, I think that means that he has the choice to believe what they are telling him, and live thinking that he was a monster who killed his own wife. Or dying as a good man in the sense that he rejects what they are saying to him, and sticks to the fact that he was a good husband and “died” trying to blow the lid off Shutter Island. But then again Scorsece did an unbelievable job really leaving the opinion up the to audience.

Hum Tum aur Ghost

Director: Kabeer Kaushik
Lead Cast: Arshad Warsi, Dia Mirza, Boman Irani
Supporting Cast: Sandhya Mridul, Zehra Jane Naqvi
Story: Soumik Sen, Arshad Sayed, Arshad Warsi
Dir. of Photography: Ashok Mehta
Music Director: Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani, Loy Mendonca
Lyrics: Javed Akhtar
There’s a lot of confusion - in the story and in the execution. As is true of many stories that deal with paranormal and mental health, Hum Tum Aur Ghost too, shuttles between the two. Some take sides, some argue it out like a drawing room conversation. Here they don’t do either very intentionally. Which is refreshing but in turn they don’t get the audience involved in the story either.
Unfortunately this is despite trying really hard. Really hard to create sweet moments between Arman and Gehna (Arshad Warsi and Dia Mirza) and friendships between Arman and Mini (Sandhya Mridul) or Arman and Mr. Kapoor (Boman Irani) ; really hard to create comic drama around the mystery surrounding Arman’s “condition”; really hard to make the subject and story interesting.
I felt like a pendulum that sways from subtle comedy to serious drama. And the shifts are pretty abrupt. As abrupt as some of the scenes are stuck together – literally looks like the film was randomly chopped and glued together. It was extremely disorienting.
The entire cast looks like they have made a good-faith attempt at getting into character. You see romance and sweet nothings being exchanged. They should have brought that “aawwww” moments, but no such luck. The emotions look way to superficial.
The saving grace though is that some of the comic lines are as subtly slid in as they are funny - very. But they are also very few and quite far between. And the sudden tone shift between funny and display of emotions doesn’t help either.

De Dhana Dhan

De Dhana Dhan is a good comedy with many actors. Akshay has done a good role. Priyadarshan did very well in Hera Pheri, even Malamal Weekly, but this is the pits.He has to go back to the drawing board and come up with a funny movie. I wanted to watch a movie that made me laugh instead I got a movie, that was visually appealing due to the lovely views of Singapore, the well-choreographed songs and the laughter.
